CHARITY BIBS PROGRAM AND RELAY
Boréalys Mont-Tremblant by UTMB is proudly presented by Événements Harricana, a non-profit organization recognized as a pioneer of trail running in North America. Since its creation, Harricana has linked each of its races to meaningful causes, raising essential funds to make a real difference in people’s lives. On the other hand, in 2023 UTMB Group created the UTMB Cares Endowment Fund, which aims to unite the trail running community and drive positive change by supporting local social, environmental, and solidarity causes — primarily within the communities hosting UTMB World Series events. For Boréalys Mont-Tremblant by UTMB, two causes lie at the heart of the event. On a national scale, we support the Association Québécoise de l’Épilepsie (AQE). Nearly 1% of the world’s population lives with epilepsy, and this cause is deeply personal: the general director of Harricana has a child living with this condition. The funds raised will directly support families, advance research, and help fund studies aimed at improving quality of life.
Closer to home, Boréalys Mont-Tremblant by UTMB is proud to support the Fondation Tremblant, which is dedicated to helping underprivileged youth in the Laurentides region. Since 1997, the Foundation has been active right here, in the territory that hosts the race, supporting local organizations that open doors to sports, education, culture, and the arts for hundreds of children each year. By running for the Fondation Tremblant, participants give back directly to the community that welcomes them and help build a fairer future for local youth.
We invite runners from around the world to join us — not only to take on the challenge of Boréalys Mont-Tremblant by UTMB, but to run with purpose and create a lasting impact for families and communities.
How to Raise Funds with Boréalys Mont-Tremblant by UTMB
When you register for a Boréalys Mont-Tremblant by UTMB race, you have two powerful ways to make a difference:
- Join the 80K Relay:
Form a team of 2 to 6 runners and take on the legendary 80 km course together. Run as a team for the cause of your choice!
- Unlock a spot in a full-distance race by choosing a Charity Bib:
Our four UTMB Index races — Odyssée 100K, Tremblante 50K, Diable 20K, and Chutes-Croches 20K — offer additional entries called Charity Bibs. By raising funds for the cause of your choice, you can secure your place in the event.
Every step you take helps create a lasting impact for families and communities.
Register today and run for a cause that matters!
How the Relais 80K Works
The Relais 80K is a charitable, non-competitive event held on the same course as the Odyssée 100K. Teams of 2 to 6 runners take turns over different segments of the route to experience a collective adventure for a good cause. Each team must choose between the Association Québécoise de l’Épilepsie or the Fondation Tremblant and commit to raising a minimum of CAD 500 for the selected organization.
After registering online, teams must complete a Race Plan Form before July 28, indicating which runner will complete each section. If a team has fewer than six members, one or more runners must cover consecutive segments.
On race day, the first runner from each team starts with the official Odyssée 100K start and passes the relay to teammates at the designated exchange points (Saint-Bernard, Pic White, Base Nord, Nansen). Each team is responsible for its own transportation between relay points.
Although finish times appear in the results, the event is non-competitive — there are no podiums or trophies, only an honorary certificate and the pride of running for a cause.
Full details, rules, and logistics can be found on the Relais 80K page.
How the Charity Bibs Work
Charity Bibs give you the opportunity to participate in one of our four UTMB World Series races — even if they’re sold out (Odyssée 100K, Tremblante 50K, Diable 20K, Chutes-Croches 20K) — while supporting a meaningful cause: the Association Québécoise de l’Épilepsie or the Fondation Tremblant.

OUR TWO CAUSES
Fondation Tremblant
Run for the Children of Our Community!
Did you know that one in nine children in the Laurentides region lives in a low-income family?
The Fondation Tremblant takes concrete action to reduce the impacts of poverty and improve the quality of life for these children. Since 1997, it has donated more than 8 million dollars to dozens of local organizations that provide meals, clothing, sports, cultural and educational activities, as well as support and guidance services.
By choosing to run for the Fondation Tremblant, you’re directly supporting the region that welcomes you and helping to give its children the same opportunities to thrive as others. Every step counts — your challenge becomes theirs, your energy turns into hope.
Together, let’s change the lives of local children — one step at a time.
Quebec Association for Epilepsy
Run for the Quebec Association for Epilepsy
Running for the Association Québécoise de l’Épilepsie is much more than a sporting gesture — it’s an act of solidarity and hope. Every stride represents a step toward better understanding epilepsy and breaking down the stigma that still surrounds this often-misunderstood condition.
By participating, you help fund essential services for people living with epilepsy and their families — including support, information, guidance, and awareness programs. You also give a voice to those who too often feel isolated in the face of the condition.
Running for this cause means affirming that no one should face epilepsy alone. It means turning the energy of movement into a force for change — toward a more inclusive, compassionate, and informed society.
Together, let’s make every step a victory for health, dignity, and solidarity.
